Free Antivirus Protection versus a Paid Subscription
In the time of rapidly advancing technology, it is more necessary than ever to protect your computer. Criminals have risen to the challenge and can use this technology to steal your information. Install software that searches for the criminal element and eliminates it from ever being a problem.
There is another dilemma: With so many antivirus products on the market, which one do you choose? There is no right and wrong answers here but some people are concerned about the difference between the free programs offered and the ones that you have to pay a yearly subscription for.

Spyware infections – How many do you have on your PC?
According to a survey done by America Online back in 2004, 91% of computer users had heard of spyware and yet only 53% of them believed there may be spyware on their own computer. However, scanning their machines later revealed that no less than 80% of them were infected. In days gone by, it was comparatively easy to ensure your computer remained virus free but then again, that was before the internet took the world by storm, and certainly before the popularity of downloadable applications. In essence, viruses in those days had very limited powers as they could only spread by means of floppy disks. As a result, they really had to rely on computer owners downloading data from a floppy disk to their hard drive without scanning the disk… Continue reading...
